Despite a substantial decrease in coronavirus incidents, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal extended the lockdown for another week on Sunday. In a press conference, Kejriwal said that if cases continue to decline, the unlocking process would begin "phasedly" after June 1.
Despite the fact that the lockdown has been extended until May 31, the Delhi government has permitted residents to travel to and from airports, ISBTs, and railway stations. People will, however, be required to display their tickets and other travel documents.
The guidelines have also allowed people coming to Delhi from neighboring Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and Noida but only for essential services. As per the guidelines, people engaged in essential services would need an e-pass for traveling inside Delhi.
1. Go to the Delhi government's official website, delhi.gov.in.
2. Go to the homepage and click on the "E-Pass" key.
3. Check the box next to 'e-Pass for travel during curfew.'
4. A form will appear, in which you must enter your name, contact information, address, district, and the reason for applying for the e-pass.
Step 5) If you are eligible for an e-pass, you must also submit a valid ID proof.
6. Press the submit button. The Delhi government will send you an SMS once your application has been accepted. You can get it on your cell phone by visiting the Delhi government's website.
