Overview

Overpriced, Deceptive, and Unreliable - LinkedIn Premium Job Posting is a Scam!

I recently tried LinkedIn Premium Job Posting, and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had with a professional platform. Here’s why I would strongly advise against using this service:

  1. LinkedIn is Overcharging
The pricing for LinkedIn Premium Job Posting is ridiculously high. For the limited features they offer, the cost is completely unjustified. There are far more affordable and effective platforms out there that deliver better results without draining your wallet.
I had set the daily budget Rs 117/- But they started deducting Rs 327/- daily, that is wrong.

  2. Tricky Tactics to Fetch Money
LinkedIn seems to have mastered the art of squeezing money out of its users. They use sneaky tactics to make you spend more than you intended. For example, they encourage you to “boost” your job postings with vague promises of better visibility, only to charge you exorbitantly for it.

  3. No Respect for Daily Budget
I set a daily budget Rs 117/- for my job postings, assuming LinkedIn would respect it. But no, they completely ignored it! The platform consistently overspent, leaving me with a much higher bill than I had planned for. It’s frustrating and unprofessional.

  4. Charging 3x the Daily Budget
To make matters worse, LinkedIn charged me three times the daily budget I had set. How is this even allowed? It feels like a blatant cash grab, and there’s no transparency or accountability for these overcharges.

  5. Suspicious Activity in Premium Job Posting
I noticed some very suspicious activity with my job postings. The number of applications and views didn’t align with the amount I was being charged. It almost feels like LinkedIn is inflating numbers or engaging in shady practices to justify their excessive fees.

  6. Charging Their Recommended Budget Without Consent
The most shocking part? LinkedIn started charging me based on their recommended budget without even informing me! I never agreed to this, yet they went ahead and billed me for it. This is not just unethical—it’s outright deceptive. How can a platform just decide to charge you more without your explicit approval?

Overall, LinkedIn Premium Job Posting is a complete waste of money. The platform prioritizes profits over user satisfaction, and their lack of transparency is alarming. From overcharging to ignoring budgets and engaging in suspicious practices, LinkedIn has proven to be untrustworthy. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Save your money and explore other job posting platforms that actually respect your budget and deliver real value. LinkedIn needs to seriously rethink its practices before it loses even more credibility.

I completely understand how frustrating this situation must be. However, as per our policy, your job post was promoted on the platform using the recommended budget, and the job posting budget amount was subsequently applied to your account.

    10:47 AM

  • Ranbir Singh

then what is meaning of daily budget Rs 117/-? where this applied?

    10:48 AM

  • Dharmishtha

I understand your concern. The daily budget of Rs 117/- refers to the amount allocated each day for promoting your job post. This budget is applied as part of the recommended promotion strategy to maximize the visibility of your job posting on the platform.

    10:51 AM

  • Dharmishtha

As per policy, the platform uses this daily budget to display your job post to the relevant audience. The charges are based on the activity during the promotion period, ensuring it reaches more potential candidates within the set budget.

    10:55 AM

  • Ranbir Singh

    its wrong why you deduct?

However, I fully acknowledge that staying within your defined budget is crucial.
